Dear Colleagues,
Please consider submitting an abstract to our session C038; Solid Earth-Cryostphere Interactions for this fall’s AGU meeting. This session is cross-listed with Geodesy, Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology, Seismology, and Tectonophysics.
The description is:
Past and present glacial systems incorporate important interactions with the solid Earth via elastic, viscoelastic, hydrological, thermal, erosional, volcanic, and other processes. We invite contributions related to observational, mechanism, and modeling studies related to cryosphere, solid Earth, and, where applicable, marine and hydrological interactions that affect the co-evolution of cryosphere and solid Earth. Topics may include seismological, geological, isostatic adjustment, volcanological, geodetic, and airborne/spaceborne geophysical studies focusing on associated joint processes.
The deadline for all AGU abstract submissions is Wednesday, August 3, and the submit link is now open at https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm16/c/papers/index.cgi?sessionid=13271.
Of course, kindly feel free to contact any or all of us by email or otherwise should you have any questions.
Best,
Rick Aster (rick.aster<at>colostate.edu<rick.aster<at>colostate.edu>)
