A postdoc position in the area of InSAR and ground deformation modeling
is available at the University of Rhode Island. The focus of the
position will be using InSAR and numerical models to characterize
underground nuclear explosions.

Research experience in InSAR and ground deformation modeling
(earthquake, volcano, hydrology, landslide, or underground explosion,
etc) is required. Experience with finite element modeling (Abaqus,
Pylith, etc) and computer programming is preferred.

The initial appointment is for one year with an option to extend based
upon performance and availability of funding. The position will be
available starting June 1, 2018 and a later starting date is possible.

Applicants should submit a CV and cover letter to Matt Wei
