Teaching is conducted in English in essentially all the courses in the Faculty of Science.

All applicants will be considered regardless of national origin, race and gender. The appointee will be appointed as "Ng Yin Ying Assistant (or Associate) Professor of Geophysics" based on qualifications and experiences. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for three years commencing August 2021, which, subject to performance review, may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation (tenure) later.
