The Geophysics Department in the Porter School of Environment and Earth Sciences is seeking to fill a tenure-track professorship in the broad field of observational, computational, and experimental Solid Earth geophysics, including but not limited to:
Seismology
Rock physics
Tectonics
Geodynamics
Geology
Candidates are expected to advise M.Sc. and Ph.D. students and teach undergraduate and graduate courses at the departmental level.
The position is primarily for Assistant Professorship, but candidates at the Associate level will be considered. Hebrew knowledge is preferable but not necessary.
