SIG proposals for the 2018 IRIS workshop are due this Thursday, March 29th. IRIS requests proposals for Special Interest Group meetings at the 2018 IRIS Workshop. Special Interest Groups (or SIGs) are breakout groups, ~1-1.5 hr in length, spread throughout the conference agenda. SIGs serve as an opportunity for broader discussion from the general seismology community on a range of topics. Dear Colleagues, We would like to draw your attention to short courses that will be offered throughout the 2018 IRIS Workshop in Albuquerque, NM this June. Specifically, we would also like to point your attention to the Field Trip to Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument in the Jemez Volcanic field to look at pyroclastic volcanic deposits, hike through a slot canyon, and get an overview of the Rio Grande Rift.
