IRIS Data Services Short Course at AGU

IRIS Data Services will again be conducting a short course on Monday morning December 9, 2013 at the AGU. It will run from 8AM until noon and take place in the MOMA room of the Palomar Hotel, near the Moscone Center.

WILBER 2 retiring to make way for WILBER 3 on Sept 30th 2013

With the release of WILBER 3 in April, we have been monitoring the functioning of this replacement to the venerable WILBER 2 system, which has served the IRIS community for a long time.
IRIS web services are moving to service.iris.edu

All of the DMC’s web services are now available at http://service.iris.edu with updated the online documentation. Web services currently available under www.iris.edu/ws/ will continue unmaintained until December 31st 2013
Version 2 of the IRIS Java Web Service access library now available

This version is not backwards compatible with the 1.x release, primarily due to schema changes. While similar in usage to the 1.x releases, it is expected that developers will need to change code when adopting this new release level.
