Hi sac users,
I have computed Ps receiver function in which maximum amplitude (direct
P-wave arrival) comes after 2-3 sec not at 0 sec. I want to shift maximum
amplitude at 0 sec. Can anyone suggest how to shift this maximum amplitude
at 0 sec. Here below i have attached some screen shot of receiver function
in which maximum amplitude (direct P- wave arrival) come at after 2-3 sec.
Thanks

Hello!
Does anyone know the bibliographic reference of the cross correlation
method used by the SAC in the correlate command?

Hi,
Can anyone please help me to solve the problem in SAC, like the problem is,
in some of the receiver function the direct P-arrival is coming in 2-3 sec
instead of 0 sec. I have tried it to fix but some headers value is missing.
Thank you.

Hi list,
I'm wondering if there is an easy way to start SAC silently, e.g. not
getting those lines:
SEISMIC ANALYSIS CODE [06/06/2005 (Version 100.1)]
Copyright 1995 Regents of the University of California
Would be net if there was a flag or command or something for this. (I'm
using Sac 100.1 on a linux machine)
Thanks,
Andreas

Hello
I basically want to add the correct SAC header from .txt file to the corresponding .SAC file
I have .SAC file which are named as followed;
N.TROH.U.D.1.SAC
N.TROH.U.D.2.SAC
N.TROH.U.B.3.SAC
N.TROH.U.C.4.SAC
and so on....
I also have a .txt called TROH_T1_T2.txt which is set-out as followed.
N.TROH.U.D.1.SAC 5.5424 6.4533
N.TROH.U.D.2.SAC 3.2432 5.5433
N.TROH.U.B.3.SAC 7.5345 9.5345

Re: Adding SAC headers from .txt file - Milton Plasencia - 2017-10-17 02:53:26
Hi Sac Users,
Can you please help me in listing all my SAC files in increasing order of
their back-azimuth values and assigning integer weights starting from “1”
to each file in their “user8” header? If there are 8 sac files then file
with minimum back-azimuth will have "1" weight in user8, while maximum
back-azimuth file will have "8" weight in its sac header.
Thanks

Dear All,
In signal stacking sub-process (SSS), by default the record section is plotted with distance. I want to plot the record section with another variable like azimuth.
Is there any provision to do it in SSS.
I will appreciate any help and suggestion.
Thanking you,

Dear SAC users and experts,
I used SAC and GMT for years on Unix Solaris for years. But, now I don't
have the same OS (Unix Solaris).
So, I want to create a new environment for my bash and shell programs code
that I have already established before.
Which is easier and problem free of bugs. Creating a Linux environment
(Ubuntu) or working under windows with Cygwin.
Does my bash and shell programs code that I have created before will work
will on windows Cygwin or Ubuntu Linux environment?…
