Hello,
I have been given a question to-
Write on shell-script to Calculate H and Vp/Vs ratio of the two attached
Receiver functions using Zhu-Kanamori mentod.
Assume Vp=6.4 km/s. Ray parameter is stored in user4.
I have attched 3 files that i have been given.
Can you please help me to solve this problem in a detailed manner?
info you may need-
w 1 = 0.6, w 2 = 0.3 and w 3 = 0.1
average crustal P wave velocity (Vp) is chosen to be 6.4 km/s. H and
Vp/Vs ratio are allowed to vary from 20-80 km (…

I started a project to apply deconvolution interferomtry to ambient-vibration. I have to deconvolve waveforms over 10 days of data. I only find information about deconvolution related to instrument response. Does anyone knows anything that could help me?

I found documentation for a sac command that I am interested in: http://www.geophys.geos.vt.edu/snoke/sac-manual/commands/rotinc.html
However, apparently this command is in a newer version of SAC than I am using and which is not yet available at IRIS.
Does anyone know how I can get the newer version, apparently v 102.0?
Thanks greatly for your help!
Seth

Hello. I'm trying to run a deconvolution of a real seismogram to remove the instrument response, introducing the file that contains the real seismogram (which has an ascii format) and the response of the instrument (a REF TEK RT151B-30) which I found on the IRIS website: "http://ds.iris.edu/NRL/sensors/reftek/reftek_rt151_sensors.html" as a RESP file. I have been trying to accomplish it, but haven't been able to, even though I follow the steps as the manual indicates. I may be doing something w…

Hi,
Anyone using STF for waveform modeling? I have downloaded stf from
http://www.eri.u-tokyo.ac.jp/ETAL/KIKUCHI/; unzipped and untared giving me
two directories: Main, Subroutine and one text file: Makefile(text file).
How do I compile the Fortran codes in Main so as to end up with the
following:
mk_conv.farm.pl
i_conv.farm
sacmacro
i_plotw
i_green
i_inversion
i_graphics
jb.ptime
jb.stime
jb.table
fort.22
