Hey everyone, I am running SAC version 101.6a on macOS Catalina 10.15.5. I have a problem with the simple "read" function. If I am in a folder where my data is stored, then if I just simply type "r [filename]", it works fine! However, if I try to pass in the absolute path to this data file, then I will get "ERROR 1301: No data files read in." Below is a demo of this error. This is a very strange behavior for me and I am totally lost on how to solve it. Would really appreciate any help!… [more]

Hi SAC users, Does SAC provide a library function to decimate a time series (similar to the functionality of the decimate command) that can be used in C/Fortran codes similar to functions provided to cross-correlate (crscor) and filter ( xapiir) waveforms ? Is there an alternative C library that is as good as SAC for this ? I think it would involve two steps - an anti-aliasing filter and then the actual decimation. Thanks for your help.
