Hi friends,
I will appreciate if someone could tell me how works the command sac "merge" I do as the manual says but it doesn’t merge anything. I have tons of information to merge; each sac file has 10 minutes window time I need each file in 60 minutes , my mates says I need an script. Does someone have a model script or another way to merge my files.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hello,
I have noticed that blackboard variables declared with an underscore (e.g.
MIN_NPTS) cannot be recalled (e.g. %MIN_NPTS). Is this a bug or standard
syntax? I am using SAC version 101.6.
Many thanks!
Januka.

Hi every one,
I have two separate ASCII files. For instance:
x1:
10 23
15 26
8 32
and
x2:
3 40
20 46
7 8
I want to read by readalpha and plotxy each one with its specific symbol in
one figure.
Please let me know your solutions.

Dear Sir
My research is filtering in seismic signal. If I apply butterworth filter to my signal in SAC, I only get the result
of the filter. I want to know how much the value of pole and zero of Highpass Butterworth Filter in SAC.
Could you tell me, please.
Thank You Very Much.
Regards
Ami

Hello,
I'm wondering if there is a way to align my traces before adding them to my stack list in the signal stacking subroutine. I've got manual picks under T2 and I can cut around that, but I don't know how to align them for use in sss. I'd prefer not to use the delay feature when I'm adding the files, but it's a large dataset and I'd prefer not to.

Hi,
Is there a way to overlay several plots together with the time markers (t0 t1 t2 etc...)?
Plot2 overlays several plots but does not put the markers, plot1 puts the markers but does not overlay plots..
Thanks for your help!

Hello dear freinds,
My problem is that i have 2 files :
The first one starts at 00.00.09.7617 and finishes at 15.45.17.252 and the
seconde one starts at 15.45.01.2525 and finishes at 00.00.00.0025 (next day)
I would like to merge this to files, we can see that we have an overlap, so
i cut the end of the first one to correspond to the begining of the first
on but when i cut and i changed the header variable i saw that it was not
changed.
These are the commands used to cut the first file

Hello,
You have to apply the cut first and then read in the file for CUT to
work (strange eh?).
For example,
CUT ON
CUT 1.661700e+01 5.670325e+04
READ x.sac
