I have verifed Dylan's result. It worked in 101.2, but not in 101.3.
Keep tuned ...

Hi Everyone,
I am having troubles synchronizing some SAC files in version 101.3. Is
anyone else having troubles?
Here are my steps:
#1) read three sac files
SAC> r *222*sac
BG1.YE..EHE.2007.222.sac BG1.YE..EHN.2007.222.sac BG1.YE..EHZ.2007.222.sac
#2) check header times
SAC> LISTHDR B KZTIME KZDATE
FILE: BG1.YE..EHE.2007.222.sac - 1
------------------------------
B = 1.600000e-02
KZTIME = 00:00:00.000
KZDATE = AUG 10 (222), 2007
FILE: BG1.YE..EHN.2007.222.sac - 2

Hi, everyone,
Recently, I need to post-process the data from the earthquake station, the SAC data file is stored in binary format,
Do you know how to change the *.sac file to a non-binary format file? so that I can use my Fortran code read it directly.
Thanks.

Hello everybody,
I have read that there exists a set of Python functions which allow
easy access to SAC files. After some extensive googling I have been
unable to locate anything other than a mention in the following
article: http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2004AGUFM.S21A0273H
Can someone please point me in the correct direction so that I don't
spend time duplicating code?
TIA
Norman.

Dear all,
I have several sac file. I read them and plot with limited Y axis.
> r cev.x drp.x
> ylim on -6e-3 6e-3
> plot1
If you look at the attached file, the first data is plotted with wrong axis limits. When I change the read sequence
> r drp.x cev.x
sac plots the first data (not the second or others) with the range of e+10 again. However, when the ylim is off, it is fine.
On the other hand, there is no problem with the single plot command (plot).
Is there a bug?
I use sac v101.…

Re: plot1 problem - Arthur Snoke - 2009-08-17 20:59:48
Dear Sac user's,
I want to generate a plot of different files in only one plot, so I want to generate it in color to distinguish each file. I use P2, but I can´t remember what to write after that, to generate it in color. Can you help me, please?
Thank you so much.

I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 and I used to have SAC running properly, but now (and I'm not sure why or how it happened) whenever I quit out of SAC (even without doing anything) I get the following errors:
